False Advertising is a dynamic Bible study curriculum that challenges students to reflect on the message their lives are preaching. Rooted in 1 Peter 2:9 and inspired by Paul’s words to the Thessalonians, this course explores the tension between the Christian label and Christian living. Are we representing Christ accurately—or are we unintentionally offering a misleading advertisement of the Gospel?

Through scripture engagement, real-life reflection, and weekly challenges, students will examine how their personal witness, their church community, and their broader peer culture intersect. They will be encouraged to evaluate their reputations, confront personal “idols,” and grow into authentic, light-bearing disciples in a world of spiritual confusion.

This course is designed to help students:

• Recognize the impact of their daily choices and behaviors.

• Evaluate and reshape how faith is perceived through their lives.

• Develop habits of integrity, service, and gospel-centered influence.
